I was just browsing the internet and I came across this story in the NBA. I can't believe this would happen! Anyhow, The Utah Jazz and the Golden State Warriors where playing Monday in Utah. Just before halftime with the game close at 56 Warriors, and 58 Jazz, a player from Golden State gets stripped. When he got stripped, a fan in the audience blew a whistle causing everybody on the court to stop playing. The only person who continued to play was Kyle Korver, who was undefended, ran down court and made the go-ahead dunk.
To my suprise the 2 points counted! Everyone was on the court trying to find out who blew the whistle. The announcer of the game stated over the intercom, "if you have I whistle and just blew it, I suggest you swallow it". I think it was very stupid to blow the whistle and disrupt the game like that. Also, I think that instead of Utah getting the points, they should have just got the ball. That way it would have been a fair shot.
At the end of the game the Utah Jazz defeated the Golden State Warriors by only 5 points. If that whistle would have never blown, or the Jazz wouldn't have been given the go-ahead two points, the game might have resulted in a different ending.
