To all you gamers out there, that time of year is finally here! On August 14th Madden NFL 10 will be hitting stores everywhere! The year the games motto is "Fight For Every Yard". A few weeks ago I went to my local Game Stop and reserved myself a copy. The manager told me that on August 13th they are opening up at midnight so people can get their copy the second they hit the shelves! Well actually, they won't be hitting any shelves!
The Game Stop where I live is hosting a parking lot Tail Gate party that night as well! They will be serving drinks, chips, and hot dogs from 9pm until 11:30pm. During that time people who have the game on reservation can go in the store, finish paying for the game, and get the receipt. Then when they close again at 11:30pm they will get the shipment of games in and get them ready for the crowd to riot over. Lol. That way people can get the game quick then rush home to play it!
When I reserved my copy I also got a Demo of the game. Which is pretty cool. I get a chance to preview the game so I know what to expect when I put it in! The Demo lets you do a rematch of last years Super Bowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals. The only bad thing about the Demo is that the quarters are only 5 minutes. Ugh! August 14th, go get yours!
