Miller's full name is Earl Heath Miller Jr. He was born in Richlands, Virginia in 1982. He attended Honaker High School. He is now known for being one of the greatest tight ends in the NFL. He plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, which is for the American Football Conference.
In college Miller was nicknamed "Big Money" because he was good at getting first downs and touchdowns. He attended the University of Virginia and was a starter for three years at tight end. In 2004 he received the John Mackey Award which is awarded to the best tight end at the end of every season. His freshman year in college he was supposed to be a quaterback but made a decision to be a tight end. He left college with all kinds of ACC records such as 144 receptions, 1703 yards, and 20 touchdowns.
Now he is playing a tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2006 Miller caught an eighty seven yard pass ending in a touchdown. That was the longest touchdown catch made by a tight end since 1974. That catch was also the longest catch made in the Steelers field.
