an aggravated injury puts Toronto Blue Jays player on the disabled list

After aggravating a recent foot injury that was inflicted onto him in June, Toronto Blue Jays have place their closer, Scott Downs, on a fifteen day disabled list.

By a line drive off of the bat of Oakland Athletics' hitter, Jack Cust, Down was hit directly in the same leg that was injured earlier, back in the month of June.

However, Down's performance has dwindled ever since he had received the initial injury. Maybe this opportunity would be a great one for him to get some physical therapy and try to relinquish his spot.
