Another disappointing loss for the Dallas Cowboys in week 9. Traveling to the Meadow Lands, the Cowboys were hoping to come away with a win against the New York Giants to keep them out of the bottom of the NFC East standings. With quarterback Tony Romo still out, Brad Johnson started. Johnson was 5 for 11 with 71 yards. He threw 2 interceptions. At the start of the second half, coach Wade Phillips, decided to start Brooks Bollinger.. He threw 9 for 16 and 63 yards and an interception.
Dallas cornerback, Mike Jenkins, returned a 23 yard interception for a touchdown. Terrell Owens had the second and final score for the Cowboys with an 8 yard touchdown catch. Dallas goes limping into their bye week after this 35-14 loss. Tony Romo is expected to started coming out of the bye against the Washington Redskins.
