Dallas Cowboys Miss The Playoffs

Last night was probably one of the most embarassing nights for the Dallas Cowboys in franchise history. Traveling to Philedelphia, the Cowboys had to defeat the Eagles to get a wild card spot in the playoffs. It was the most important game of their season and they played horribly. Dallas will miss the playoffs this year.

Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, fumbled the ball twice and threw one interception. Running back Marion Barber fumbled by the goal line and an Eagles defensive player returned the fumble for a touchdown.

The Dallas Cowboys scored only two field goals in the 44-6 loss in Philly. With Dallas losing, the Eagles get the second wild card in the NFC. Some were expecting to see a new head coach in Dallas next year, but owner Jerry Jones says otherwise.

 

Dallas Cowboys Beat Themselves in Pittsburgh

The Dallas Cowboys end their 3 game winning streak at Heinz Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Sunday game was a tight match up that ended after a few costly mistakes. leaving the Dallas Cowboys down by 7 points.

The Steelers kicker Jeff Reed missed their first field goal of the game. They made their second one making it 3-0. Before halftime Dallas kick Nick Folk kicked a field goal making the score tied at 3 at the half.

Dallas scored 10 points in the 3rd quarter, making them the first team this season to score on the Steelers in the 3rd quarter. Pittsburgh answered in the 4th quarter with 17 points scored. Tony Romo threw an interception with 1:40 remaining, which was ran in for a touchdown. Dallas lost 20-13.
